Restaurant: Mya Tiger

Interior stylist and designer Eleisha Gray spent over two years scouting the world for the perfect elements for The Espy’s revamp. Whether it was her unending eBay alerts to cut-throat auctions, finding collection of antique chandeliers, salvaging mantles from old houses or reupholstering antique furniture.

Moving to the first floor via the old grand staircase, guests ascend beneath a magnificent chandelier and into classic Cantonese eatery Mya Tiger. There’s no red, there’s no gold and there’s no dragons but there is a delicious menu created by former Longrain head chef Sarah Chan and Cole & Son’s Palm Jungle wallpaper enveloping the bar back wall. There’s something ghostly and austere about walking up those steps. You ascend beneath a glittering chandelier and into classic Cantonese eatery Mya Tiger.
