Interior stylist and designer Eleisha Gray spent over two years scouting the world for the perfect elements for The Espy’s revamp. Whether it was her unending eBay alerts to cut-throat auctions, finding collection of antique chandeliers, salvaging mantles from old houses or reupholstering antique furniture.

Moving to the first floor via the old grand staircase, guests ascend beneath a magnificent chandelier and into classic Cantonese eatery Mya Tiger. There’s no red, there’s no gold and there’s no dragons but there is a delicious menu created by former Longrain head chef Sarah Chan and Cole & Son’s Palm Jungle wallpaper enveloping the bar back wall. There’s something ghostly and austere about walking up those steps. You ascend beneath a glittering chandelier and into classic Cantonese eatery Mya Tiger.
