Romo has been designing fabric and wallcoverings from Nottinghamshire since 1902, and is still run by the Mack family four generations on. The wallcoverings are quiet rather than loud — grasscloths, fine linens, painterly botanicals and pinstripes drawn at close intervals — made to sit behind furniture rather than compete with it. Every design here is available to order, with $10 A4 samples so you can see the colour against your own light first.
