Arne Jacobsen Trapez
Arne Jacobsen Trapez
A classic, graphic pattern based on reversed trapezes, originally designed for fabric in the 1950's. The simplicity is a stroke of genius and makes the pattern perfect for wallpapers too. A favourite amongst architects and interior designers.
Arne Jacobsen is the world famous Danish architect and designer who made design history with his furniture, textiles and cutlery. He was so timeless in his design that his work feels completely contemporary regardless of the fact that it's been a quarter of a century since his glory days. Rumour has it that as the strict father prohibited his son from pursuing an artistic career, the future design icon revolted by painting the walls in his room white to draw on. Now, as his patterns are turned into wallpaper, we dare to guess that it's a move that would have made the young Arne very happy.
