Net by Laura Berger - Salmon
This is a truly unique wallpaper collection by Laura Berger, a Chicago based artist, who turned to creating art full time to get through a very painful time in her life.
"Losing my family base unexpectedly definitely had an enormous impact on the work I’m making, and watching someone I loved die quite young taught me a hard and important lesson about really seizing life while we’re here," says Laura.
Her artwork feature people, alone and together, connected and separate, in tonal backgrounds and timeless scenes. “I’m interested in exploring our connections to ourselves and each other, the idea of finding novelty and adventure in everyday life, our rituals, symbols, nature, dreams, travel, our quest for self-development, and how we piece it all together to create personal meaning and a sense of belonging to the greater whole.”
This wallpaper style is called "Net", her painted people connected by limbs, reaching out for each other, the pattern at scale creating a network of people, humans, of us.
