1) About us & contact
This website is operated by Wallpaper Trader (ABN above). You can contact us at info@wallpapertrader.com.
2) Using our site
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access. We may update content or suspend the site for maintenance.
3) Orders & pricing
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We’ll confirm by email when we accept your order. Prices are in AUD and GST handling is shown at checkout. If we discover an error in price or availability, we may cancel and refund before despatch.
4) Products, installation & samples
Please check batch/lot numbers and shade before installation. Follow the product’s hanging instructions (e.g., paste-the-wall vs paste-the-paper). We recommend professional installation. We encourage ordering samples to check colour and scale. This section does not limit ACL rights.
5) Shipping, customs & risk
Risk passes on delivery. Delivery estimates are indicative only. International customers are responsible for local duties/taxes unless we state otherwise.
6) Returns, refunds & consumer guarantees
Returns are handled under our Refunds & Returns Policy and your ACL rights.
ACL acknowledgement: Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
7) Orders via third-party platforms
For orders placed through TikTok Shop or Facebook/Instagram Shop, the platform’s order, cancellation and returns rules apply and must be initiated in-app, in addition to these Terms where relevant.
8) Chargebacks & disputes
If something’s gone wrong, please email info@wallpapertrader.com first—most issues resolve faster than a card dispute.
- Evidence we keep: order details, product page screenshots, your communications, carrier tracking and (for high-value orders) signature confirmation, and (for online orders) checkout logs such as IP/device and payment verification results. We may submit these to your card issuer if a dispute is filed.
- 3-D Secure (where supported): When available through your card issuer, we may request 3-D Secure (3DS) authentication. Successful 3DS can shift liability for certain fraud-related disputes under card-network rules.
- Platform orders: For orders placed via marketplaces (e.g., TikTok Shop), disputes follow the platform’s in-app process as well as these Terms where relevant.
9) Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss. Our total aggregate liability in connection with non-ACL claims is limited to the amount paid for the relevant order. This clause doesn’t limit your ACL rights.
10) Intellectual property
All content on this site (including images and copy) is owned by or licensed to us. You must not reproduce it without permission.
11) Force majeure
We’re not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., carrier disruptions, natural disasters).
12) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Victorian courts.
