Emma von Brömssen Wallpaper
Emma von Brömssen is a Swedish pattern designer who founded her brand on Sweden's west coast in 2008 and was named Elle Decoration's Designer of the Year in 2016. Her wallpapers have the soul of hand illustration: flowing botanicals, hares hiding in meadow grass, storybook birds and the woven texture of Classic Rattan, drawn with remarkable delicacy. Wallpaper Trader stocks her original wallpaper collection alongside the newer Långelid/von Brömssen studio she co-founded. Every design is available as a $10 sample, with $5 postage within Australia.

About Emma von Brömssen
Every pattern is designed by Emma and drawn by hand before it is put into production. Her fabrics are printed at Frösö Handtryck, one of the two hand-printing textile mills still working in Sweden, and her wallpapers are printed at Ulricehamns Tapetfabrik in western Sweden, screen-printed or roller-printed with hand-mixed colour. Elle Decoration's citation praised a dazzling skill combined with a strong sense of inspiration from nature, and Svensk Form Väst has named her Form Bearer of the Year. In 2018 she and Daniel Långelid founded Långelid/von Brömssen, the studio that now carries her wallpaper work forward.
What we stock and how it is sold
The Emma von Brömssen collection here is ten of her own designs, now printed by Långelid/von Brömssen, on 53 cm non-woven paste-the-wall rolls, including Hiding Hares, the most ordered design across both of her labels at Wallpaper Trader, and the Classic Rattan series that has become a modern Scandinavian staple for bedrooms and hallways. Repeat and match are listed on each product page; Hiding Hares is a 64 cm half-drop.
Before you order
Use the roll calculator, allow for the half-drop where it applies, and order all rolls together. Rolls are printed in Sweden, so allow three to four weeks for delivery. A sample shows the fine pencil detail that photographs flatten.
