Texture is what separates a wall that’s “painted beige” from a wall that makes people reach out and touch it. This collection gathers our grasscloth and grasscloth-effect papers, linen weaves, raffia, hessian looks and plaster finishes — depth without pattern, which makes them the easiest wallpapers to live with long-term.

Designers reach for textured papers in living rooms, studies and master bedrooms, and anywhere downlights would make flat paint look patchy. Many modern “grasscloth” designs are actually printed non-woven papers — you get the look with far easier hanging and cleaning than natural fibres. Product pages state which is which.
