Wallpaper that began as paint on paper. Layered washes, pigment blooming outward, colour that pools and dries unevenly — all of it printed at scale so the brushwork survives.

The brands. 42 of the 64 designs are by Emma Hayes, who hand-paints each original in her Auckland studio in New Zealand. The rest come from Sandberg (Sweden), Rebel Walls, Casamance (Italy), Abigail Edwards, Cass Deller and our own range.
The facts
- Formats: murals printed to your wall size and ordered by the square metre, plus designs sold by the roll or the panel. Emma Hayes designs are sold as panels, each 1.29 m wide.
- Price: murals from $106 per square metre. Rolls and panels run from $212 to $1,198.
- Samples: $10 each, plus $5 postage within Australia. Worth it here: a wash reads completely differently at wall scale than on a screen.
