Harry Potter Wallpaper
Our official Harry Potter™ wallpaper murals are designed by MinaLima, the London studio of Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima, who created the graphic universe of the Harry Potter films from 2001 and the printed props in them, from the Daily Prophet to the Marauder's Map. There are four designs, each $300 a roll, printed on 147 gsm non-woven paste-the-wall paper on 10 m by 0.5 m rolls: the Black Family Tapestry, the Marauder's Map, the Hogwarts Library and the Daily Prophet. Every design is available as an A4 sample, posted worldwide.

About MinaLima
Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima began working together in 2001 on the first Harry Potter film and went on to craft the graphic style of all eight, then the Fantastic Beasts series from 2015 and Diagon Alley at Universal Orlando. In 2009 they formed Studio MinaLima, and the House of MinaLima in London shows their whole archive. The wallpaper is a Warner Bros. licensed product designed by the studio, which is what makes it official: the artwork on your wall is the artwork that was on screen.
The four designs
The Black Family Tapestry recreates the Black family tree from number twelve, Grimmauld Place, in faded golds and greens, burn marks and all. It is our most ordered Harry Potter design by a wide margin and reads as a heritage print first, which is why it sits as comfortably in a study or media room as in a bedroom. The Marauder's Map wraps a wall in inky footprints and secret passages in aged parchment, at home in hallways and stairwells. The Hogwarts Library turns a flat wall into floor-to-ceiling shelves of more than thirty book covers from the films, the practical choice behind a desk. The Daily Prophet collages twelve front pages in monochrome and suits teenage bedrooms and small rooms.
How the rolls work
Every roll is 10 m long and 0.5 m wide, about 5 m². On a standard 2.4 m ceiling one roll gives four drops covering 2 m of wall width, so a 3 m to 4 m wall usually needs two rolls and a 5 m wall three; the Tapestry and the Map are a half-drop match, the Library and the Prophet a random match. The full table is in our how many rolls guide. The paper is paste-the-wall and there is no peel-and-stick version of these designs. They are not recommended for steamy bathrooms.
Is it official?
Search for Harry Potter wallpaper and you will find licensed MinaLima murals, a separate licensed peel-and-stick range from another manufacturer, and unlicensed prints that borrow the imagery. Is Harry Potter wallpaper peel and stick?
No. The MinaLima range is non-woven paste-the-wall paper only. A different manufacturer holds the licence for peel-and-stick.
Is the Black Family Tapestry the Sirius Black family tree?
Yes. It is the tapestry from the drawing room at Grimmauld Place, printed as a wallpaper mural rather than woven cloth.
Can I get a Harry Potter sample?
Yes. Every design has an A4 sample cut from the real paper, posted worldwide.
