Banana and fan palms sway across the wall in La Palma, the best-known wallpaper in Catherine Martin's Majorelle collection for Mokum — a range inspired by Jardin Majorelle, Yves Saint Laurent's garden retreat in Marrakech. The four-time Academy Award winner's eye for theatre shows in the scale and movement of the palms, while a faux linen emboss recalls the bark cloth prints of 1950s resort style. Made to transport a powder room, dining room, bar or bedroom somewhere warmer.

One roll covers roughly 6.8 square metres. Send us your wall measurements before you order and we will confirm exactly how many rolls you need.
As a paste-the-paper vinyl, it hangs best on a smooth, well-prepared wall so the embossed surface reads consistently across joins.
About this design
- Digitally printed onto pre-embossed paper-backed vinyl, so the surface has cloth-like depth rather than a flat shine.
- The extra-wide 68.5 cm roll lets the palms read at full, immersive scale with fewer joins.
- Washable and hardwearing — happy in powder rooms, hallways and commercial spaces as well as bedrooms.

Styling notes
- Pairs beautifully with dark timber, rattan, cane, brass, marble and vintage pieces — anywhere a layered, resort-bar mood suits.
- In a small room, paper every wall and lean into the drama; in a larger room it makes a generous feature wall behind a bed or banquette.
- Each colourway has a matching La Palma textile in the same collection, so curtains or cushions can carry the scheme.

Questions
How do I know how much I need?
Where you see the wall calculator on the product page, enter your wall width and height — for rolled wallpaper we work out how many rolls you need (allowing for pattern repeat and trimming), and for made-to-measure murals we calculate the square metres, then set the quantity for you. If a product has no calculator, measure your wall in metres and round up, or email hello@wallpapertrader.com and we'll help.
Can I order a sample first?
Yes — samples are $10 (postage calculated at checkout), so you can check the colour and texture in your own light before committing.
How long does delivery take?
within Australia delivery is $50 and most orders arrive in 3–4 weeks. Express is $150 (about 10 business days).
Can I install it myself?
Many customers do — most designs are paste-the-wall and DIY-friendly. See our guide or find an installer.
What if it's not right?
Contact us and we'll look after you — see Returns & Exchanges. We recommend ordering a $10 sample first.
