Why Order a Sample First

A screen can't show you everything. Ordering a sample is the single best $10 you'll spend before a wallpaper project — here's why.

Colour looks different in your room

Every screen shows colour slightly differently, and your room's light changes everything. A soft green can read grey in a north-facing room and bright in afternoon sun. A sample lets you see the true colour on your own wall, in your own light, morning and night.

You can feel the texture

A lot of our wallpapers have a real, tactile finish — matte, linen-like, subtly raised. Photos flatten all of that. Holding the actual paper tells you more in two seconds than ten product photos.

You can test it against your room

Tape your sample to the wall and live with it for a few days. Hold it next to your sofa, your curtains, your flooring. You'll know very quickly whether it's right — and it's far cheaper to find out now than after the rolls arrive.

2. Samples are $10 each and arrive in the post.
3. Tape it up, look at it across a few days and different light.
4. Happy? Order your rolls with confidence.

Our honest advice

Order samples of your top two or three designs at once. Seeing them side by side on the actual wall makes the decision obvious, and you'll commit to your full order without second-guessing.
