Soft textile illusion, drawn the Sandberg way. Ilse is a trompe l’oeil mural that reads like a woven fabric on the wall, with a graphic, structured rhythm and a cosy, design-forward warmth. It is an ideal choice when you want texture and architecture without a busy pattern, perfect for bedrooms, living rooms, dining spaces, hallways and studies.

About this design
- Textile-look mural that adds depth and calm without visual noise.
- Trompe l’oeil graphic structure that makes a room feel finished and intentional.
- Mural format gives an immersive, tailored result compared with a standard repeating wallpaper.
- Part of Sandberg Edition, built around hand-painted Swedish design classics.
Styling notes
- Pair with linen, pale oak, wool textures, stoneware and simple silhouettes for a Scandinavian calm.
- Works beautifully with minimal joinery and warm, soft lighting.
- Best on a wall with clear sightlines, such as behind a bed, along a dining wall, or at the end of a hallway.
