A calm, characterful stripe with a very Swedish point of view. Brita is a delicate, rustic stripe designed to feel both simple and lived in, like a woven textile translated onto the wall. It was created as part of a collection inspired by Carl and Karin Larsson, and takes cues from the late 1800s colour and interiors at Lilla Hyttnäs, where soft contrasts and confident trim work sit together naturally. It is an easy choice for bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, studies, nurseries and anywhere you want gentle structure without heaviness.

- For the cleanest seams, start with a smooth, well-primed wall and use an adhesive suitable for paste-the-wall non-wovens.
About this design
- Refined stripe with hand-drawn texture that reads warm, not formal
- Great “base pattern” for layered interiors, it pairs easily with florals, checks and plain painted joinery
- Non-woven, paste-the-wall for a cleaner install and crisp seams
- No pattern match which keeps hanging straightforward and reduces planning stress
Styling notes
- Pair with linen, pale oak, chalky whites, warm metals and simple ceramics.
- Works beautifully with wainscoting and picture rails, especially if you want a heritage-meets-Scandi finish.
- Ideal for narrow spaces like hallways and entries where stripes add rhythm and direction.
Designed by Carl Larsson for Sandberg Wallpaper’s Huset i Solen collection.
