A calm horizon, just as the day begins. Gryning means “dawn” in Swedish, and this mural captures the first light climbing over a winter morning. The design is pared back and atmospheric, made for rooms that want quiet presence rather than pattern. It suits bedrooms, living spaces, stairwells, hallways and any wall you want to feel wider and more open.

- For murals, measure full wall width and height and order to size.
- Start with a smooth, well-primed wall for the cleanest seams and the most even matte finish.
- Commercial Vinyl — suitable for all areas except those with high humidity, such as bathrooms.
About this design
- Soft, painterly landscape that adds depth without visual noise.
- Wall mural format for a more immersive, architectural result than a standard repeat.
- Choice of wallpaper types with the same premium matte finish across options.
- Excellent light fastness and strong fire ratings available across finishes.
Styling notes
- Pair with pale oak, linen, wool textures, stoneware and clean silhouettes for a true Scandinavian feel.
- Works beautifully with minimal joinery and soft lighting to enhance the “first light” mood.
- Best on a wall with clear sightlines, like behind a bed, along a dining wall, or at the end of a hallway.
Designed by Sissa Sundling for Sandberg Wallpaper’s Sandberg Edition collection.
